With the genome annotation platforms GenDB for prokaryotes and GenDBE for eukaryotes, the IIT has established and flexible software solutions for the automatic and manual annotation of genomes. Numerous bioinformatics tools for the identification, classification and annotation of genes are available. In addition, the web interface allows a detailed and comfortable manual annotation by the user.
Individual solutions for creating specific gene models for their eukaryotic genome are available upon request.
